Sandra Kerstetter is Manager of Business Development for Sunrise Senior Living in the Philadelphia area. With over a decade of experience dedicated to the senior population, Sandy has been with Sunrise since April 2010, prior to that she served as Director of Admissions for St. Barnabas Health System in Pittsburgh. Sandy is a graduate of Temple University, in addition she holds a certification in gerontology and is an approved CE teacher on courses in Caring for Our Aging Population and Managing Challenging Behaviors In the Elderly with Dementia. With a personal motto of “epic fabulousness”, Sandy enjoys traveling, yoga, long walks on the beach, her dog, being a “foodie” and living life like a party, and anyone that knows Sandy can attest to that motto.
Sunrise Senior Living opened in 1981 as a resident-centered environment. Until then, the only available senior care was in institutional-like facilities otherwise known as nursing homes. With their new approach to senior care, Sunrise Founders Paul and Terry Klaassen began a movement to champion quality of life for all seniors.
