Judy Wicks, Founder of White Dog Cafe, Philadelphia Entrepreneur and Author has worked to build a more compassionate, environmentally sustainable and locally based economy and her presentation included her beginnings in the restaurant business, always with a strong commitment to the community, was timely and thought provoking. Her memoir, Good Morning, Beautiful Business: The Unexpected Journey of an Activist Entrepreneur and Local Economy Pioneer was published in March 2013 and was available as an autographed and personalized copy at the luncheon.
